花とアリス

這就是我們為什麼要小清新!!





      與愛麗絲」有著極為明確標準的文藝片開頭(令人摸不著頭腦的少女遊蕩和嘻笑)、小清新攝影必備的大量逆光畫面、岩井俊二招牌式花漾少男少女、和無懈可擊的鋼琴加小提琴配樂。以上敘述似乎可以些微捕捉出花與愛麗絲的樣貌,但未觸及其穿透人心的光芒。

     "Hana and Alice" has a very classic opening for art film (i.e., weirdly, wondering girls and their laughs), numerous must-have photographic shots that against lights, Iwai Junji films' typical beautiful  boys and girls, and the impeccable music composing with piano and violin. My above technical descriptions may help you to catch the way this film looks like, but definitely not the light that touches your heart.




        這光芒來自看似微弱故事性下的真摯情感,以及蒼井優渾然天成的少女氣質和演技。有一段影評最得我心,他這麼說:花與愛麗絲不適合評論,只適合感覺。這是一部會在你心頭留下一絲光輝的電影,而這絲光芒恰似我們對青春的集體意象。鈴木杏是嚮往愛情的花,在密友愛麗絲(蒼井優)偶然的玩笑下,把情竇初開寄託給了在電車接駁間反覆相遇的學長。花在一次學長莫名其妙的撲街昏倒後發揮機智,謊稱學長失憶,而自己是被學長愛慕告白的對象。為了應付學長不斷地質疑,只好把好友愛麗絲也扯了進來,扮演學長前女友的角色。蒼井優的愛麗絲明亮純淨若白天鵝,離婚的母親好像一個不想長大的孩子,家裡一團亂,要依賴愛麗絲照顧,又拒絕在新男友面前承認女兒的存在,愛麗絲深深想念著忙碌總是不在身邊的父親,孤獨的活著,偷偷懷抱著試鏡的夢想。花與愛麗絲一起在學長的尋找記憶遊戲中創造回憶。花喜歡學長、學長受到愛麗絲吸引、愛麗絲從對謊稱的回憶中尋找依戀著的父親的影子。

     This light was shed from the sincere emotions behind a seemly weak storyline, as well as Aoi Yu's perfect acting and her aura of girly elegance. My favorite film critic says, "this is not a film to comment, but to feel."  This is a film that leaves your heart with an internal light, in which the light was so similar to our communal memories of youth. Suzuki An played Hana, who, under her friend Alice (played by Aoi Yu)'s unintentionally joking, fell in love with a boy whom  Hana frequently met during commuting in trains. In an unexpected, small accident, the boy hit his head and lost consciousness. After he woke up, Hana lied to him, saying that he lost the memories of confessing to her. To makeup her lies, she asked Alice to play the role of the boy's ex-girlfriend, whom was said to be also forgotten. Aoi Yu's Alice is bright as a white swan. She lives in a messing house with her divorced mother, who behaves more like a child than her daughters does, and even denied Alice as her child in front of her new boyfriend. Alice deeply misses her father, who is always far away and rarely spends time with her. She has a dream of becoming a model. However, Alice always fail in auditions because of her lack of confidence and does not know how to present herself. Hana and Alice created memories as they faked memories for the boy. Hana likes the boy, but the boy is attracted by Alice. Alice replicates her memories with father to her faking memories with the boy.




         這卻不是一個三角戀的芭樂習作,青春純淨地沒有一絲的惡意,愛攝影的女孩諄諄告誡著「花與愛麗絲不可以吵架喔」,花與愛麗絲最終為了友情一起放棄學長,溫柔的學長早察覺了真相卻也沒有責怪花的意思(雖然我對他最後的選擇甚感疑惑)。我會說岩井俊二整部電影的鋪陳都是為了醞釀愛麗絲最後那五分鐘令所有人都目瞪口呆了的芭蕾獨舞。青春不僅僅是因為單純而被過度美化的想像,即使生命中有那麼多的挫敗與失望,愛麗絲的芭蕾卻舞得那麼輕盈、乾淨,那是在電影的魔法下,時間被凝止的青春,純粹真摯的那麼美。

     However, this is not a cliche love-triangle story because no maliciousness shall be involved in the sparkling youth.  As that photographer-girl keeps saying, "Hana and Alice shall not have quarrels >.<" In the end, both Hana and Alice gave up the boy for their friendship. The gentle boy also did not blame Hana for her lies, even though he already knows the truth (although I am confused by his final choice). I would say that Iwai produced the whole film for the sake of Alice's last five-min-long solo-ballet, which stunned everyone, inside and outside of the screen. Youth is not an overly beautified imagination simply because of innocence. Even there are so many depressions and disappointments in life, Alice dances so lightly and gracefully. That is the time-capsuled youth, preserved by the magic of film, that shines so sincerely and purely.
